On the edge of the Erg-Chebbi desert, amongst the dunes, is where you’ll find our Acacia Desert Camp. You may stroll into the golden dunes from this location to see the sunset over the Sahara dunes. You will get to experience Berber local music around the campfire.
Breakfast and dinner are the two meals served at the camp. Lunch is served upon request. We will also provide you with water and Moroccan mint tea.
You can experience the desert in comfort at our well-maintained, traditional camp. We offer tents that are privately equipped with blankets and sleeping arrangements. In addition, we provide family, double, or single tents for you.

Additionally, the tents provide mattresses and lighting for a comfortable stay in the desert. We also offer pillows, bed linens, and large, thick blankets to keep you warm and comfy all through the night.

Acacia Desert Camp – Best Time to Stay
Acacia Desert Camp welcomes guests every year from 1 September until 30 June, offering the perfect chance to enjoy the desert in pleasant conditions. The desert climate can be extreme, but if you plan your stay between mid-September and the end of April, you will experience the most comfortable weather. Days are usually sunny and clear, while evenings bring a refreshing cool breeze, making it ideal for both relaxation and adventure.
If you visit in January or February, you might be lucky to witness a very special scene. For those who love photography, winter is a dream come true. The low winter sun creates soft golden light, perfect for capturing the beauty of Erg Chebbi dunes, desert landscapes, and stunning sunsets. While nights can be quite cold, daytime temperatures are usually comfortable for outdoor activities.
The Location of our Desert camp in Merzouga
Our desert camp in Merzouga is located on the eastern side of the Erg-Chebbi dunes.
Acacia Desert Camp is hidden between the dunes of the edge of the Erg-Chebbi sand dunes.
You can get to our desert camp from Merzouga village by riding a camel, Walking, or transferring by 4×4 car.
